Due to a problem in ability to protect the KV-1 1941 type, designers proceeded a series of enhancements to the armour. The turret of the KV-1 was improved to about 75 mm in thicknesses. From the KV-1 there arose this KV-1 with a German 7.5cm L/43 cannon and German commander's cupola.The armour was sprayed with German camouflage paint
